Lifeproof - Customer service number is a direct line to a third party boiler shop
The customer support number 800-533-**** is a joke! It's turned into nothing more than a high pressure sales tactic to have me purchase a "value pack" for $24.95 per month after receiving a "free" $100 gift card (for a $4.95 shipping charge).
All I wanted was to order a replacement part for my Lifeproof case. Instead, after 20 minutes of promises they would send me to the correct department, I canceled the ill-advised acceptance of the $100 "gift card". That took another 10 minutes as multiple Indian gentlemen at the "Rewards Center" boiler shop tried to convince me I was crazy not to accept their generous offer.
Then the only number they gave me for parts support was general toll-free information, 800-555-****. A ridiculous and unacceptable way to run a business!
I will be keeping my eye on my credit card billing.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

same here. they told me my card is "high valued" so couldn't charge on it.
Was there ever any charge to your card?
Same thing happened to me.
that's because the number is 188* *** **** not 180* *** ****.
You dialed the wrong number. It is 1-88*-***-**** not 1-800.
I made the same mistake.
Had the same Indian guy. I finally realized I dialed the wrong number.
It is an 888 number not an 800 number. You're calling the wrong phone#. The correct one is 1-88*-***-****.
I turns out the correct customer service no. is 844-244-****. Perhaps the Lifeproof Facebook page and other link I found with the scam phone number has been hacked.
